Such a pleasure to meet Mr. {H}. He’s at that super-fun age where he loves to sit, smile, and explore…. and only crawls away every once in awhile. 😉 He loved the first set-up of playing the role of aviator! (And then he remembered that he’s also at the age of separation anxiety… but we can work with that and still managed to get some good shots.) Love his silly smile and his spunk! Precious Miss {E} came to visit me when she was just 13 days new, and she was just the best little girl for her session! She was so patient and willing to let me get her fingers and chin “just right.” Just love her long fingers and flawless skin. Loved her mama’s sense of style in mixing up textures, and so glad we even got to use {E} as a model to help show off her daddy’s clothing line!

My sweet niece turned ONE back in November, and I was fortunate to travel to see her that same week, so OF COURSE we had to take pictures! 🙂 Miss {H} is the sweetest little girl and has brought such joy to so many in our family. I love how active she is (no interest in standing still for pictures… ha!) and how determined she can be to get something she wants. Love you sweet girl!  

Such a pleasure to spend a morning with baby {J}, his big sister {C} and his mom, dad, and auntie! And let me tell you, he is the luckiest little guy, because he has one of the best big sisters I know! Miss {C} did an AWESOME job of letting me be particular with posing her for their sibling shots. I’m sure with these two sweet peas around, there was lots of JOY this Christmas. (And hopefully maybe a silent night, too! 😉  )

One of the sweetest miracles I’ve had the opportunity to photograph… Little Miss {MK} is simply precious! I was honored to be able to partner with her uncle of Carolina Portrait Designs in capturing her newborn sessions since she was too little to travel to his studio.  While I don’t have a full session’s worth of images to share, there were still many I fell in love with. I just love watching Miss {A} grow! She was in before Christmas for her sitting milestone session, and she is seriously one of the happiest babies I know! I also had the opportunity to capture {A} and her big brother {Z} together too… LOVE how he uses his baby sister as a racetrack! 😉 They are both so sweet!

Can you believe Miss {B} is 9 months old already?!? Amazing how time flies. I’ve so enjoyed watching this sweet pea grow during my trips back home. Like her big brother and sister, she was inducted into the kg “cold weather fall shoot” club, and she handled like a professional! Anything in the name of pictures, right? 🙂 One of the things I LOVE most about the milestone sessions with this family is that mom ALWAYS jumps in for a shot or two. I LOVE the authenticity of photographing little boys! I’ve had the privilege of capturing little brother {Z} a couple of times, but this was my first opportunity to get my lens on big brother {A}. He brought such a fun mix of spontaneity to the shoot… just love how I was able to capture some of the family interaction that he instigated. 🙂 Already looking forward to seeing this family soon for their next milestone session!

THIS folks, it what it’s really all about. Capturing moments, memories, and milestones. And they aren’t always the milestones of little ones. Mr. {P} has suffered from chronic back pain for years. Despite several surgeries and a variety of treatments, the answer seemed to be “don’t lift anything weighing more than five pounds”. As a father of young kids, that was quite restricting! So it was super-duper exciting this summer that we were able to capture these images. So hard to believe 3 months have gone by since Mr. {Z}’s newborn session! And despite arriving on very little sleep, he did absolutely fantastic for his session. Full of smiles for me and his mama! Looking forward to capturing the whole family soon!
