Such a pleasure to meet Miss {A} and her little brother Mister {N}! They did an awesome job for their photo shoot. Miss {A} must be one of the most poised little seven-year olds I know…. and I just loved the faces and expressions that came from Mister {N}! 

So many special life milestones have been shared with this family…. our wedding, baby showers, being in the hospital together while delivering our little ones… <3 It has been so much fun to watch these kids grow through the years. It was two summers ago when I first got my lens on these kiddos…. remember this session? Truly one of the first families I photographed…. so many years ago, before {W} was even born! I can reminisce about all the fun sessions we have had in the past… out in the woods, maternity, newborn, the horse farm, the lifestyle at home, just to name a few! LOVE capturing the expressions of little boys! Just so much fun! And while Mister {D} has always had some fun expressions, his personality has really developed in the past year! There are so many more fun personality shots in his full gallery not pictured here, but I didn’t want his mom to think I only capture goofy shots!  😉  And his big sister {A}…. isn’t she beautiful? So so pretty, and so patient with her little brother too!  

I was so excited to see Mr. {C} again, and even better – I got to capture the whole family! 🙂 I had warned Mrs. {Z} that she might want to come prepared for me to snap at least one or two mother-son pics. Well, she surprised me by having the whole family ready to go! Don’t you just love their outfits and accessories?! I love how she pulled it all together! And I am so happy she will have a few images to document this pregnancy too!

The {C} Family is one of the sweetest and most God honoring families you will ever meet. I was thrilled to be able to get my lens on them again and document how much each of the boys has grown over the last fifteen months. Each of the boys has their own little charm…. But the youngest, Mister {Z}, sure stole my heart with his grins and smirks!

So much love and emotion behind this picture that it is truly indescribable. Can’t wait to edit and blog the rest of this session. <3

What a pleasure it was to capture the {H} family just before a perfect Carolina spring sunset! They had requested more of a life-style session. What does that mean exactly? It means that I still scout the location for the best lighting, and make basic suggestions for where and how to sit. But beyond that, I let the family BE a family for the duration of our session.
